| Job Description | Our client is one of the leading marketing analytics vendors in the USA and EU markets. Through acquisition and ongoing product development they entered the web analytics space about three years ago and have been steadily gaining market share - particularly among clients that are looking for online and offline client/customer data unified in one tool. They have recently expanded their business to Asia / Pac and they are looking for their first full-time web analytics professional to be based in Australia. The role can be based either in Sydney or Melbourne. The role will be quite hands-on initially. Working with clients to implement, optimize and troubleshoot their web analytics tools... but over the next year or two as the Asia/Pac team grows there is a real opportunity to grow and run a team. It is an exciting opportunity for someone that has worked in a client-facing web analytics role and wants to build something fropm the ground-up within a $500MM company. Provide technical account management support to our customers in the following ways: Being the single point of contact for the customer’s needs Managing the implementation process and working cross functionally in order to ensure customers are onboarded in a quick and efficient manner Responding to and managing application issues to closure in collaboration with Customer Support and Hosting Operations Answering product functionality questions and providing advice and guidance on how to configure the application and/or reporting Performing periodic assessments of application usage and providing opportunities for improvement Capturing customer feedback for improving our products, processes, and customer experience. Execute standard jumpstart implementations including the following tasks: web analytics application setup, page tagging assistance, data collection and verification, end user web based training, documentation and support transition, Collaborate with operations team on prospective, new, and existing customer issues impacting the customers’ hosted environment.
Additional Responsibilities: Assist with application installation and provide remote advice and guidance on profile and reporting configuration Assist with technical pre-sales of product suite |

| Qualifications | 3+ years of enterprise software consulting and implementation experience
An solid knowledge of relational databases, specifically: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2 databases An solid understanding of major software platforms: specifically all flavors of Windows and UNIX A solid knowledge of scripting languages especially JavaScript A basic understanding of web servers, such as Apache, Microsoft IIS and iPlanet A basic knowledge of SQL querying for multiple databases A basic knowledge/exposure to business intelligence tools, such as Business Objects, Cognos and MicroStrategy Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent project management and customer interaction skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills Bachelors degree required |
