| Job Description | Our client is one of the top software companies in the world. Based in the Bay Area, they have one of the most recognizable brands in the enterprise software world. They are looking for an additional member of their online marketing analytics team. This is a relatively senior-level role (even though it has a "senior analyst" title) that will have a big impact on the team. Their goal is for this to become a permanent position, but since there is no headcount available at the moment, they are looking for someone that can come in on a contract-to-hire basis. Most likeluy scenerio is that it will be a 3-6 month contract that either extends or goes perm... Here is their job description: The Marketing Analytics team is responsible for driving strategic thinking, analysis and insights for our company worldwide. As a Sr. Marketing Analyst you will play a key role supporting one of our largest business units to perform analyses, discover new paths for growth, co-lead the development and evolution of the BU’s marketing reporting, and provide recommendations on all site initiatives and marketing programs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the design, development and implementation of web measurement, database and analysis solutions by partnering with a large, cross-functional team. As a dedicated member of the BU’s team, the Sr. Marketing Analyst is responsible for developing clear business and measurement objectives and will have a lead role in developing and executing on the quarterly analysis/optimization roadmap. Design, develop and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks and analyses with a focus on web marketing effectiveness, key performance indicators and continuous site/marketing improvement. Maintain functional expertise in database marketing, integrated channel marketing (e.g. email, search, display advertising and websites), analytical tools and techniques. |

| Qualifications | We are seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious, creative and determined individual with a strong record of professional achievement to fill this role.
5+ years business experience working in Marketing, Digital/Interactive Advertising, or Management / Technology Consulting. Must have 5+ years demonstrated experience in web AND digital media analytics. Candidates who are not skilled in both web and digital media analytics will not be considered. Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful insights from disparate data sources. Knowledge of integrated marketing and customer relationship disciplines a significant plus. Excellent written, oral communication, project management and presentation skills. Must be able to clearly articulate and present findings and recommendations to team members and executive management. Must have basic knowledge of data warehousing, database marketing, JavaScript and HTML Candidates must be detail oriented and must enjoy working in a fast paced, results oriented environment. |
