Client Retention Associate

As a Client Relations Associate, you will ensure that all of our clients and CPAs are receiving exceptional client service throughout their engagement with our firm. You will manage and foster these relationships by acting as a key liaison both internally and externally. You will orchestrate strategic management of every project through collaboration with all departments at alliantgroup.

The Client Relations role is to ensure that all clients’ expectations are exceeded and firm wide profitability is increased through the act of making every client into a Raving Fan.

Responsibilities:

Create organic Raving Fans by delivering an A+ work product and an exceptional client
experience. Raving fans are generated through repeat business, client referrals to new business and written testimonials

Work closely with clients in multiple industries

Research relevant technical topics relating to our clients

Update and maintain project milestones and action items in Excel

Conduct client calls, draft and review client and CPA correspondence

Develop strategy on client deliverables and client experience using knowledge of tax code and
industry expertise

Learn and become proficient in application of Research & Development tax code to various client industries

Proactively drive solutions on any project issues by uncovering the root cause and developing an action plan through collaboration with various departments and executive management

Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex strategy to C-level executives

Deadline driven, detail oriented, and expert in time management

Ability to work well in a fast paced, high performance environment through diligent prioritization and organization

Expectation of confidentiality in all business matters

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

1+ year in Project Management

2+ years in sales, account management or client service

Ability to resolve problems through critical thinking and diligent follow through

Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication

Conducts self with the utmost professionalism and confidence

Self-starter and driven to produce positive results
