Corporate Sales Executive

Location: Remote (upper Midwest, Northeast or Mid-Atlantic)

Our client is one of the largest media companies in the US. Their mission is to strengthen local communities by providing essential content, marketing solutions, and experiences for consumers, advertisers, and stakeholders. Their content is delivered through both print and digital publications, including hundreds of local media outlets across the country.

As a company, our client is in a growth mode and is investing to build a bigger, stronger business that meets the needs of their audiences. They are investing to build new businesses that can drive meaningful growth for the Company. With this in mind, they are looking to hire a Corporate Sales Executive to drive group sales with a focus on volume, revenue, and lifetime value with Corporate, Government and Education clients. As a sales executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue by promoting their group subscription solutions to clients. Your ability to build relationships, communicate value, and close deals will be key to their success.

Responsibilities include:

Engage with corporate clients to understand their unique needs and challenges.

Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers and C-suite executives.

Customize licensing packages based on client size, industry, and specific news needs.

Collaborate with our internal teams to address unique requirements.

Identify and qualify prospects through research, networking, and referrals.

Maintain a robust pipeline and track progress using CRM tools.

Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and collateral.

Provide valuable feedback to enhance program features.

Qualifications:

7+ years of sales experience (previous Media sales experience preferred but not required) 

College Degree or the equivalent related work experience

Proven success in B2B sales or subscription-based services

Proven record of accomplishment of reaching and exceeding revenue goals

Articulate, persuasive, and adept at tailoring messages to different audiences.

Demonstrated ability to function and communicate effectively at senior client levels.

Exceptional communication skills including strong virtual & in-person presentation skills.

Excellent time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Salesforce

Experience with working on local or federal government contracts a plus

Ability to travel by car and air on a regular basis.
