Customer Data Analyst

Our client is a global restaurant company, which engages in the development and operation of some of the most recognizable brands in the world. They have over 30,000 employees and operate over 50,000 restaurants in 150+ nations and territories.
Our of their restaurants brands is seeking to add a new Customer Data Analyst to help drive their customer-centric approach to analyzing how their marketing, digital and media strategies are reaching customers. This position will own A/ B campaign analyses projects from beginning to end, including opportunity identification, problem scoping, analysis framing / execution, and synthesizing results to project stakeholders and internal leadership.
You will be part of a team that applies a data driven approach to unlocking value to their customers and will work closely with your strategic Marketing partners to bring this to life. You will support the organization by providing day-to-day tactical support and to help optimize the strategy surrounding the customer-centric marketing, media & digital experience.
This position requires a strong foundation in hypothesis and A/B testing and understanding measures of statistical significance. The ideal candidate has a breadth of analytics experience, strong technical skills, an evolving understanding of common technologies, and is capable of decomposing complex problems into addressable components or digestible analyses while maintaining a keen eye on the relevant business objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Analyze how marketing communications (i.e. owned/paid media, digital marketing, etc) are impacting customer metrics
Develop test plans and design test cells for intricate tests that may involve static controls or special customer groupings
Manage campaign testing calendar, monitor customer segments, prioritize learning opportunities and prevent conflicts across tests
Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting deliverables surrounding campaign performance
Ensure that all data-gathering requirements for campaigns are technically fulfilled
Build presentations explaining conclusions from analytics and present results to stakeholders
Execute, Improve, and Streamline new & existing data processes that support the understanding of the health and performance of various aspects of our business
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or Relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable insights
2+ years’ working in digital analytics tools; such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, & CDPs
Basic SQL skills
Experience defining data tracking requirements & guiding developers through data layer implementation of those requirements
Experience managing end-to-end A/B testing program execution
Expertise with conversion rate optimization using analytics and A/B testing
Experience using e-commerce funnel analytics to evaluate performance of digital products. Comfortable with building data visualizations (KPI’s, OKR’s, etc.) and presenting to stakeholders
Preferred:
Familiarity with digital media (Display, Social, Search, DOOH, Video, OTT, etc.), and CRM (email, SMS, push notifications, etc.)
Formal experience with Product Model
Experience developing A/B testing strategy
Knowledge of marketing testing methodologies include A/B and multivariate testing
Knowledge of statistics, measuring statistical significance, and statistical testing methodologies and experimental design
Experience using BI reporting and dashboard platforms such as DOMO, Tableau or similar tool
Familiarity with a broad set of topics and subject areas within marketing analytics (e.g. campaign attribution/effectiveness, web tracking, customer lifecycle marketing)
