Our client is an international technology company (UK-based) with some of the leading data platforms in the marketplace. Their customer data platform, data management tools and fraud prevention technologies are best-in-class.
They are currently looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join their global Sales Team. The fundamental goal of the Sales Operations Administrator is to provide a solid foundation for strong Sales team performance and measurement.
The role will monitor and improve sales performance and productivity, create & optimize processes for scale, and ultimately impact sales and revenue. You will contribute to a range of key initiatives such as sales analytics, pipeline performance management, sales tools implementation, data management, and systems configuration. Additionally, the Sales Operations Admin will coordinate and liaise with other stakeholder groups including Marketing, Finance, Partnerships, Professional Services, and Support.
The ideal candidate is a team player and is looking for an opportunity to have a significant impact across the organization. This is an individual contributor role where you will continuously improve the efficiency of our sales workflows and systems by analyzing key sales metrics and activities. Much of your insight will come from process analysis and revenue data, cross-functional collaboration, and market best practices. You will report directly to the VP of Global Sales to work with that individual to continually improve our tactics around the globe.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the Sales Operations process to enable sales team productivity
Work alongside sales leaders to define quarterly objectives, standardize reporting, and create dashboards for executives
Manage metrics/analytics programs to help sales leaders make data-backed business decisions
Own and lead projects to scale and improve our systems and processes, maximize automation, formalize procedures, and introduce best practices
Act as the eyes and ears for the VP of Global Sales to identify any factors limiting Sales team performance
Proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales process and find ways to reduce them to make the sales machine run faster
Manage and support cross-functional initiatives, serving as a liaison between sales and other key teams: marketing, partnerships, and professional services
Provide frequent operational support to the VP of Global Sales including general administration, assistance with all hands staff and executive meetings, as well as establishing and managing regularly cadenced business performance reviews
Create and maintain sales department policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource material
Ensure data quality and integrity within HubSpot and other company tools
Qualifications:
Experience and certifications for HubSpot are a must for this role
Experience in SaaS sales operations as a CRM subject matter expert with proficiency in creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, and managing dashboards
Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure team execution and business impact
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present at all levels, listen effectively, socialize ideas across functions
Self-starter with excellent strategic, project planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail and a desire to improve performance based on accurate metrics
Comfortable working with senior-level executives, adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
