Manager Financial Analytics
Location: Remote / Virtual
Our client is one of the leading subscription-based media companies in the world. Their 10k employees and 200+ local and national media brands will generate roughly $3B in revenue this year.
This role sits on the Consumer Subscription Growth Team, which is the primary revenue driver for the company. You would work with their full portfolio of brands to deliver analysis that helps to grow the subscription base through increased subscription sales, engagement, and improved subscriber retention.
The Manager of Revenue Planning & Analysis will work closely with the Senior Director of Revenue Growth & Planning to drive data focused, results driven decisions that utilize investments efficiently and prioritize revenue growth.
The primary responsibilities are driving subscription growth through analysis:
Create analytical models that enable actionable and measurable insights
Organize and holistically report team financial performance and KPI’s
Analyze pricing changes and their impact on revenue and subscription growth
Analyze data and lead analysis to develop powerful data driven decisions across teams
Effectively communicate and collaborate across team to influence results oriented business decisions
Skills & Experience:
Strong track record in analytics driving business insight & deliverables
Expertise in financial / quantitative modeling
Working knowledge of financial / FP&A metrics is required. Understanding of publishing, media and/or subscription-oriented KPI’s is preferred.
Background in Publishing or Subscription Services company is preferred but not required
Must be self-directed, a willing collaborator, and enjoy working in a team environment
Must have ability to think and pivot between strategic and tactical actions
Must be able to work remotely
