Sr. Clinical Director
Location: Onsite in Delray Beach, FL
Our client is committed to providing the very best treatment for substance use and mental health disorders, specializing in the treatment of underlying trauma, addiction interaction disorders and process addictions. Their program provides a full-continuum of outpatient care, with holistic therapies, career coaching, family education and support, medication management, and community integration, all provided from a trauma-informed lens. They provide a clinically sophisticated and comprehensive approach, guiding patients and families to recovery for life.
They are currently looking for a Sr. Clinical Director to join their amazing and dedicated team. The Sr. Director will provide strong clinical leadership for the organization and oversee the coordination of care through the multidisciplinary team, clinical and family systems expertise to admissions staff/ RRD’s and the national team and RVP’s.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the work of clinical staff and ensures the provision of quality services and documentation by structuring/modifying clinical programming to meet patient needs, assigning patients to staff according to strengths and weaknesses.
Reviews treatment plans and ensures that patients are receiving the care needed. Signs off on documentation as a Qualified Professional.
Provides leadership for the interdisciplinary team in a manner that encourages open communication, appropriate assumption of responsibility for patient care, and a high degree of initiative in resolving patient issues.
Determines staffing needs, assists with hiring, orientations and training of clinical staff.
Responsible for meeting the budgets for each of the clinical programs they oversee.
Ensures that all clinical staff adhere to the clinical philosophy in working with the patients and their families.
Responds to off hour issues/concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Provides clinical supervision in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings as well as individual supervision sessions.
Conducts individual and group therapy in accordance with license requirements, CARF standards and company policies.
Sets high standards of care and models high levels of clinical concern and competence.
Makes recommendations to the Executive Vice President of Florida or other company leaders regarding the direction and needs of clinical programs.
Takes a leadership role in identifying quality improvement opportunities and in implementing improvement programs.
Maintains referent relationships and conducts regular quality control calls with referent base and follows up on any serviced related issues.
Represents the company and the company’s clinical programs at conferences and other external speaking engagements.
Maintains appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior with patients, families, and professionals.
Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with Title 42, CFR, Part 2, HIPAA and company policies.
Follows and enforces all company policies and procedures including human resources, safety, clinical, administrative, etc.
Completes all paperwork/documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Completes all required training on a timely basis.
Conducts quality performance evaluations on direct reports on a timely basis.
Conducts frequent reviews of patient charts and all documentation to ensure quality and compliance with organizational standards and requirements as outlined by licensing and accrediting bodies. Provides supervision and feedback for clinical staff related to documentation issues.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in counseling or related field required.
Independently licensed in Virginia, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD or Pre-licensed status in Virginia required.
Experience in the area of facilitating group therapy preferred.
Experience with addiction/recovery strongly preferred.
Knowledgeable in dual diagnosis, specifically trauma and PTSD.
If in recovery, two years of uninterrupted sobriety preferred.
Qualifications:
Licensed in the State of Florida or State of PA, depending on location. If not licensed, must be eligible for license.
Minimum of a master’s degree in social work or related field.
Minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting within a drug and alcohol program.
A minimum of 3 years clinical supervisory experience.
Experience with in-network insurance programs.
If in recovery, 2 years of continuous sobriety is preferred.
Certifications in specialized areas such as process addictions or trauma preferred.
