Manager / Director of Growth Marketing

Location: Houston, TX

We are working with alliantgroup, a consulting company for the middle market that is currently experiencing explosive growth. Their core area of expertise is around tax rebates and incentives for small and medium sized businesses, but they have also launched several complimentary consulting practices within the last couple of years, such as cybersecurity, IT and talent services. 

They have created a new role that will support their high octane, highly successful sales organization, as well as several other key stakeholders. In this role, you would be responsible for developing strategies and campaigns that generate a high volume of targeted B2B leads to feed to their sales organization. The role will also be responsible for building brand awareness within key segments.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Work with internal teams – Business Development, Implementation, Operations and IT - across our company to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of multi-channel campaigns. 

  • Understand key partnerships within the organization to drive a full funnel of customer acquisition.

  • Create integrated marketing campaigns based on market segments to gain new prospects and build repeat business. Strategize, execute, and optimize a data-driven campaign strategy to achieve sales goals for an assigned geographic or firmographic defined market segment. Use marketing automation and email nurturing to engage and convert prospects and customers across the buyer journey. 

  • Educate marketing team to build prescriptive persona-based buyer journeys as the foundation for campaign strategy.

  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies

  • Results, Data & Communication: 

    • Compile regular reports of campaign performance and results

    • Provide regular, ongoing reporting, campaign insights, pacing toward goal and revenue. Guide efforts to create standardized marketing reporting and dashboards, presenting performance to the marketing department as well as stakeholders throughout the company.

    • Improve new campaigns using data and feedback from existing and previous projects. Document processes in handbook for transparency.

    • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective

Skills & Experience: 

  • 3+ years experience supporting sales and marketing efforts.

  • Ability to thrive in a metrics-driven culture. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Strong copywriting and editing skills. Impeccable eye for detail.

  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Manage multiple projects with intertwining deadlines while staying focused on the details

  • Ability to work cross-functionally across the marketing organization as well as sales and other teams to design and orchestrate impactful, targeted marketing campaigns. Exhibit willingness and flexibility to work both independently as well as part of a team.

  • Ability to work with executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company. 

  • Understanding of budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
